VEHICLE FLEET & DRIVER GUIDES

Our small fleet consists of air-conditioned vehicles, regularly maintained by a registered Toyota and Mercedes Benz dealership (for roadworthiness and cleanliness) and meets all the standards and requirements of the Rood Transportation Act. Our drivers are trained and possess the necessary qualifications and documentation (Valid Driver’s License and Public Driving Permit). Each driver is equipped with a cellular telephone. Our drivers are neat and appropriately dressed and are trained and able to respond and deal with unexpected situations competently and efficiently.

The standard vehicles on our fleet are the 1 x 14 Seater Toyota Quantum, 1 x Mercedes Benz Sprinter and 1 x Toyota Yaris (luxury sedan) – vehicles which have repeatedly proven their suitability to our operations.

1. Meet and Greet
   As part of our Company Philosophy of continuously improving customer service, we offer an optional meet and greet service at Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth International Airports. All guests are met in the Arrivals halls by a King & Queen Tours and Coaches representative, with a paging-board, clearly displaying their names as well as that of their agent. Clients are assisted with their documentation and escorted either to their onward local flight, car rental or vehicle for transfer to their destination.
2. Quotation request system
   King & Queen Tours and Coaches has come to realize that time is one of the most valuable commodities maintaining our innovative spirit and dedication to seamless customer service, we have a policy of providing quotations within 4 hours, where possible.
3. Manager on Call – 24 Hour Assistance
   King & Queen Tours and Coaches has identified the need for a 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency helpline for on the spot decisions and assistance. This service will provide immediate assistance in accessing the logistical or operational support that may be required. Outside of office hours, clients should contact the Manager on Call on 083-662-9595.
4. Tourist Guide Training and Personalized Tourist Guide Selection
   King & Queen Tours and Coaches views the Tourist Guide as the face of our company, thus placing on exceptional amount of care and detail in the selection of all Tourist Guides that are employed by us.
   
   Apart from the knowledge of the geographical regions the guides are accredited for, it is compulsory that they have an in depth knowledge of the ethics and principles that King & Queen Tours and Coaches prides itself on.
   
   The selection of a Tourist Guide for a tour is something that we feel is fundamental in the enjoyment of a Private Tour, and matching the correct Tourist Guide to the client profile is something that involves the whole team, up to and including the Managing Member.
